Did you know that in addition to having our very own museum a short walk from campus, Framingham State University students can also gain access to two of the country's most renown museums located in Boston? Sponsored by the Arts & Ideas program! All the details are below:
Museum of Fine Arts Boston
Visit the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) in Boston's Back Bay. The MFA is the fifth largest museum in the United States, featuring more than 450,000 works of art. Framingham State University undergraduate students in departments within the College of Arts & Humanities (Art and Music, Communication, Media, and Performance, English, Fashion Design and Retailing, History, Liberal Studies, World Languages) or those who are taking courses in Arts & Humanities, will get free access to the museum. The Institute of Contemporary Art
Visit the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) in Boston’s Seaport.
- ICA membership allows students, faculty, and staff to visit the ICA for free.

Danforth Art Museum at Framingham State University
Finally, don't forget to visit our very own Danforth Museum, located a short walk from campus on the Framingham Centre Common. The Museum’s Permanent Collection focuses on American art from the 19th century to the present day. Changing exhibitions feature both historic works and the works of contemporary artists. FSU students, faculty, and staff have free and unrestricted access to all exhibits on display.
