Bike Patrol

The Bike Patrol Unit is a vital part of the Framingham State University Police Department's mission. Bike Patrol is designed to enhance our community policing program along with cruiser patrol and foot patrols.

Training

Our officers attend one of two sanctioned bicycles training programs. COBWEB (Cops on Bikes with Education for Bicyclists) and IPIMBA (International Police Mountain Bike Association), which trains officers how to patrol safely.

Equipment

The Framingham State University Police Department operate three state of the art mountain bikes equipped with emergency lights and related paperwork.
