FOR WITH FREEDOM COMES RESPONSIBILITIES: EDUCATION IS THE KEY TO EMPOWERMENT AND JUSTICE — LESSONS FROM MANDELA AND KING with Ndaba Mandela, Grandson of Nelson Mandela and Founder of Africa Rising Foundation.

Ndaba Mandela, the grandson of Nelson Mandela, is a prominent advocate for social change and the co-founder and chairman of the Africa Rising Foundation, which aims to promote a positive image of Africa globally. He actively works to inspire the next generation of African leaders and combat HIV/AIDS through various initiatives, including his role as an executive director at UNAIDS. Ndaba’s recent book, Going to the Mountain: Life Lessons from My Grandfather, Nelson Mandela, offers a personal perspective on his grandfather’s teachings and legacy. He has been recognized as one of BET’s “28 Men of Change” and is featured in the International Emmy-nominated docu-series The Mandela Project. Through his dynamic presentations and community-focused projects, Ndaba continues to embody and share Nelson Mandela’s message that one individual can indeed make a difference, emphasizing values such as humility and equality learned during his upbringing with his grandfather.
