Welcome & College Connections: Academic Receptions

Celebrate your college community! Join alumni, current students and their families, and faculty/staff for an evening of conversation, mocktails, and light bites. Reconnect with familiar friends and make new connections too.

Family Game Night
6:30 to 7:30 p.m., McCarthy Center Forum

Join the Office of Family Engagement for a game of trivia, prizes, and food. 

Men's Soccer vs. Rhode Island College
7 p.m., Maple Field 

Men’s soccer kicks off the athletic activities during homecoming weekend when they host RIC in a non-conference clash on Friday night under the lights at Maple Field. 

Suit Jacket Posse Improv Show
7:30 p.m., McCarthy Center Forum

Laugh along with the Suit Jacket Posse as they deliver an interactive improv comedy show full of unexpected moments and crowd-inspired entertainment.

Moonlight Breakfast
Dining Commons, 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The tradition continues! In addition to breakfast under the moonlight, we’ve revamped our late night tradition with music, BINGO, commemorative t-shirts, affinity group meet-ups, and so much more! Expect meetups for The Gatepost, Hilltop, GenOne, Active Military & Veterans, Student Affairs, and Legacy Families. Close out your first day with yummy food and fun for everyone!

Family members of students in the Honors Program! Join us at the Honors House for a special Honors Program Reception during Homecoming and Family Weekend! Meet the coordinators of the Honors Program, tour the Honors House, and connect with other families whose students are part of this vibrant academic community. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the program’s offerings, ask questions, and celebrate your student’s achievements in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

Softball Alumni Game
Maple Softball Field, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Former players can participate in this fun exhibition. 

Walk and Talk with Wellness
9:30 to 10 a.m., McCarthy Center Patio

Connect with alumni, Career Development staff, and a Family Advisory Council member for a conversation on career preparation, professional growth, and the important role families can play in supporting students' post-graduation success.

Women’s soccer squares off with UMaine-Fort Kent on Saturday morning. The non-conference game will begin at Maple field at 11 am.

Festival FSU is here! Join the Framingham State community for the inaugural Festival FSU, a vibrant celebration of Ram pride, community, and tradition. Explore student organizations, shop alumni-owned vendor booths, enjoy a whimsical balloon artist, and experience a Taste of Culture featuring flavors from around the world. While you're here, visit the Planetarium, discover campus resources, and connect with students, alumni, families, and friends at this exciting new Homecoming & Family Weekend tradition. Classroom Experiences
McCarthy Center Classrooms, 2 to 5 p.m.

Returning to Framingham State as a HCFW tradition, The Floor Lords were established in 1981 at the adolescence of the Hip Hop movement. Two groups formed into one to create a powerhouse crew.
