Bruce is currently the North American Sales Manager at QED Technologies where he is responsible for business development and product sales into commercial and government markets. QED Technologies designs and builds high precision CNC systems for the manufacturing of high precision optics that are required in semiconductor fabrication, laser energy systems and space and airborne imaging. He is also an Adjunct Faculty Member at Framingham State University, Graduate Studies, teaching entrepreneurial & intrapreneurial courses. He has developed a unique approach called “ENJO” that views entrepreneurial sales as a problem-solving journey to quickly understand early adopter customer requirements for business success. In addition to his current work at Framingham, Bruce is currently a guest lecturer at the University of Rochester, AIN Entrepreneurship Center. He works with Duncan Moore, Vice Provost of Entrepreneurship on the elements of “Effective Technology Sales” for start-up ventures. He has also been a mentor and guest lecturer at Emerson College, NSF- I Corp, Venture Well and NSF–SBIR-STTR new venture programs. Prior to joining QED technologies, Bruce has held progressive senior sales and business development positions for Optima Corporation, Advanced Electron Beams and Cognex Corporation with a focus on manufacturing & technology automation. He spent his formative years at Texas Instruments - Electro Optics Division as an Optical Engineer and Manufacturing Manager, where he developed a strong foundation for both the design and manufacture of electro-optics imaging systems. He received his BS in Optical Engineering in 1980 from the University of Rochester where he also was a DIVIII NCAA intercollegiate football athlete.
