Dr. Masterson has a Doctorate Degree in Teaching and Learning focusing on Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction. She has a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Reading, a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education. She has worked as an Adjunct Instructor at American International College and Visiting Instructor at Bridgewater State University and Northeastern University, where she taught a variety of courses in Special Education, Assessment and Reading.
Dr. Masterson was a second-grade teacher for eighteen years, prior to moving into her current position as a public-school Administrator. She teaches Developmental Patterns of Students with Moderate Disabilities, Behavior and Classroom Management, Literacy Instruction for Diverse Learners and is a program supervisor at Framingham State University.
