Guy brings a wealth of experience in college mental health counseling, earning his expertise from Springfield College. His passion for working with students began there, where he started as an athletic counselor, and has only grown stronger over the years. At Framingham State, Guy is committed to providing evidence-based, culturally responsive care tailored to the unique challenges college students face. His clinical specialties include trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. With a particular focus on student-athletes, Guy is also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant helping athletes navigate performance pressures, mental resilience, and personal growth. His integrative therapeutic approach - drawing from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques - ensures holistic, high-quality support for every student he works with.
