Dr. Laurie Keating has been teaching online in the CIT and Ed Tech programs since 2001. She is a former technology director and educational technology consultant and teaches courses related to the work she does in public school districts. Technology Infrastructure Management, Systemic Change, Discipline Specific Topics in Technology. She also teaches Instructional Technology and Educational Leadership courses for the Louis Cedrone Center for International Education. As a practitioner, her classes focus on the application of educational technology in the workplace, and her assignments encourage students to think outside the box.
As she attempts to empower students to work towards the position they want in their learning organizations, Laurie is proud to note that some of the assignments they have taken on have resulted in special assignments or promotions in their workplace. She encourages all of her students to take every opportunity that presents itself, as you never know what it will lead to.
