Lori Lavigne received a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Lafayette College, a M.A. in Economics from State University of New York at Binghamton, and a PhD in Economics from State University of New York at Binghamton. Her areas of interest are labor economics and health economics. She has presented papers at the Eastern Economic Association, Southern Economic Association, and National Business and Economic Society.
