Sally Kuzma has taught English as a Second Language to adult learners for more than 20 years in community colleges, community-based organizations, and with the U.S. Department of State. She earned an MFA in Visual Arts from Stony Brook University, a BFA from California College of the Arts, and a Master’s TESOL Certificate from University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Sally has trained English language teachers in Central Asia, Latin America, and Indonesia. She has developed instructional materials for adult English language learners, with a special focus on refugees and immigrants with little or no formal education, and workforce development. With a background in communications and the arts, she takes pride in creating culturally responsive learning experiences. She has been known to bicycle to work, and is happy to share gardening tips and recipes.
