Shawn Driscoll is a Cold War and Modern American historian who earned his Global Studies Ph.D. at the University of Massachusetts--Lowell in 2025 and an M.A. in History at Worcester State University in 2013. He has also taught as adjunct faculty at UMass Lowell, Worcester State University, and Mount Wachusett Community College. His most recent book, We Are But Your Children—An Oral History of the Nightclub ManRay, (Quidnet Press) was published in the Winter of 2022. His other books have focused on the 1919 Influenza Pandemic (The Grip, 2020, Dutcher and Elsworth) and the World War I veterans of Worcester, Massachusetts (They Ventured Far, 2018, Dutcher and Elsworth) His most recent academic article, Primetime Vet, explored the portrayal of Vietnam Veterans on American television. (PopMeC, 2022). He has also presented his work at various conferences, including The American Historical Association, The World History Association, New England Historical Association and Northeast Popular Culture Association.
