Major: Child and Family Studies, minors in Criminology and Psychology

I chose to study at Framingham State because when I first walked on campus I felt like I was home. I felt supported and that I was heading down the right path. I was very excited to join the Honors Program. Being part of the National Honors Society in high school, I wanted to continue to push myself to achieve academically. There is also a financial benefit, which helped with my bill.

The support from the faculty and the advisors from the Honors Program have been really helpful and motivating. The Honors House also provides a very calm and quiet place to study. The classes are challenging, but you get extra support and you get to look forward to the recognition and praise that comes with graduating from the program.

I decided to major in Child and Family Studies because I’ve had the chance to work with kids on the autism spectrum and it’s changed my overall perspective in life. My goal is to become a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst and specialize in working with children with disabilities.
