Student Staff
Student workers support Campus Events by serving in leadership roles as Reservations Assistants, Setup Crew, AV Technicians, and Event Service Managers.
Reservations Assistants- The Reservations team is the first line of customer service and provides support for daily operations for the Office of Campus Events. Reservations Assistants are responsible for processing requests for events, spaces, and event resources. The Reservations Team can support event planning, provide information about event spaces, answer questions about guidelines and office policies and procedures, and assist with the reservations process through 25Live.
Setup Crew- Our Setup team does just that, sets up event spaces to the requested and required specifications, customizing your event space to your needs. Setup crew is knowledgeable about event resources available on campus for space adjustments in order to enhance the guest’s event experience.
AV Technicians- The Tech team provides technological support for events ranging from microphones, to zoom room support, to lighting. AV Technicians are trained to provide tech support and answer your questions during your event to help things run efficiently.
Event Service Managers- Event Service Managers (ESMs) are your on-site support for events. ESMs are scheduled according to the event request details and are present to answer questions, support any last minute resources requests, and provide customer service to hosts and guests during an event.
Accommodations at Campus Events
Framingham State University is committed to providing access to university events for people with disabilities. The form is available for people with disabilities to request accommodations to attend university events.
Event sponsors may also use this form to indicate anticipated needs regarding accessibility and assistive technology for their events.
