Professional Development For Educators

Earning graduate credit is convenient and affordable with Framingham State’s online professional development courses.

We offer four-week online courses for educators that take place four times a year, in the fall, twice in the spring and a very popular summer session.  All courses count for one graduate credit and cost only $225 each. You can earn 22.5 professional development points (PDPs) for each graduate credit you receive.

This online professional development program caters to the busy lifestyle, allowing you to study from the comfort of your home or anywhere at all. You will have access to all the technical support you need by e-mail, IT@framingham.edu, or through our telephone help line at 508-215-5906.

We partner with school districts, education collaboratives, and other institutions and organizations to offer graduate credit to educators for course work or conference attendance. If you are an institution/organization interested in partnering with us to offer graduate credit, click Partnership in Educational Professionalism.

If you are or wish to become an instructor, click For Our Instructors and learn more about the required documentation, grading instructions, and submitting new course syllabi.

New in Spring 2018, Framingham State University also now offers TESL 910 SEI, a MA DESE approved, graduate level course, leading to the SEI endorsement
