What’s in it for me?

  • Students will take two FSU courses taught by Professor Hartwiger, as well as courses offered by Harlaxton College. FSU courses will be with your Framingham cohort, while Harlaxton courses will be with other study abroad students from around the world.
  • Classes only run Monday-Thursday, which means you always have a 3-day weekend. Harlaxton will plan some free excursions, but you are welcome to explore on your own, too! Harlaxton even has an office that will help you plan your weekend trips.
  • In case you didn’t notice up there, your meals are included! And the food is really good.
  • Harlaxton has a nurse, counseling services, library, and a disability access office available to students.
  • Courses are taught in English – you’re in England, after all! So there’s no language barrier to stress over.
  • Students are grouped into houses (ever read Harry Potter? It’s like that). There are house competitions, but also a fitness center, bike rentals, and a shuttle into the neighboring town of Grantham to enjoy on your own time. You won’t be bored.
  • If you’ve ever thought about studying abroad but wanted the comfort and familiarity of your FSU peers, this is the PERFECT option for you.
