About half of FSU students pay nothing in tuition & fees after financial aid

Nearly half the students who attend Framingham State University (46%) pay nothing in tuition & fees. Many more see their costs significantly reduced.

The fact is that most students and their families aren’t aware of all the financial aid that may be available to them, depending on their financial circumstances. In most cases, if your family income is under $85,000 a year before taxes, you qualify for the MassGrantPlus Program, which covers 100% the cost of tuition & fees. If your family makes between $85,000 and $100,000, your tuition & fees may be reduced by up to half your out-of-pocket expenses.

While MASSGrant Plus does not include room and board, it does provide an allowance of up to $1,200 for books and supplies.

Bottom line: The large majority of good paying jobs are expected to require a 4-year degree by 2031. Before you decide that a bachelor’s degree is out of your price range, find out how much aid you qualify for by  completing your FAFSA when it opens (expected December 1, 2024 for students enrolling in Fall 2025).
