Career Opportunities
Health & Wellness majors will be prepared to pursue career opportunities across a wide range of exciting fields, including:
Personal Trainer
Evaluate a clients' current fitness level and goals. Then, develop personalized training programs.
Fitness Facility Director
Responsible for operating community recreation facilities, private fitness clubs and other venues.
Community Outreach Coordinator
Responsible for connecting an organization with the surrounding community.
Health Coach
Help clients achieve health goals by providing advice on nutrition, fitness and lifestyle changes.
Health Educator
Manage community outreach programs to create awareness of healthy living and its benefits.
Wellness Program Coordinator
Plan and manage programs for offices, educational institutions or health care facilities.

Program Learning Goals:
Upon successful completion of the Health and Wellness major students should be able to:
- Design projects based on principles of health and wellness.
- Propose appropriate health and wellness recommendations for individuals and groups.
- Communicate using a variety of strategies in health and wellness.
