My passion for becoming a sports dietitian started during my time as a student-athlete at the University of New England, where I played football for four years. After graduating, I knew I wanted to continue my education to help elite athletes – Division 1, professional, and even Olympians – reach their highest potential through nutrition.

I chose Framingham State because the Food & Nutrition program felt like a perfect fit for me. The small class sizes, supportive and knowledgeable professors, and the ability to live at home and save money while staying close to family made the decision easy. The flexibility within the program has also been a huge advantage, giving me the tools I need to work toward my goals.

What I’ve enjoyed most about the Food & Nutrition program is how helpful the professors are whenever you need anything, the supportive environment from my classmates, and how the classes I’m taking now are setting me up for a career in sports dietetics. The coursework is challenging, but it keeps me sharp and constantly learning.

Right now, I’m finishing my prerequisite courses to enroll in the Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CPD) next fall. Through the CPD’s focused coursework and internships, I know I’ll graduate with the latest skills and knowledge needed to pass the RD exam, become a registered dietitian, and excel in the sports nutrition field. FSU has given me a strong foundation to help athletes perform at their absolute best and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
