Ethics: Demonstrate knowledge of ethical principles and ethical reasoning.

Psychology is one of the most popular majors at Framingham State University and for good reason; students study the way the mind works and what motivates people to do the things they do.
Psychology Student Spotlight: Bianca Furtado ’26
Bianca Furtado is a Brazilian student who chose FSU's Psychology program for its affordability and academic reputation. Since arriving, she has participated in multiple research projects with faculty as she charts a path to one day earning her PhD.
Psychology Student Spotlight: Izayah “Zay” Morgan
Izayah “Zay” Morgan is a Psychology major with a minor in Journalism who works part-time in the University’s Center for Inclusive Excellence. He is a member of the Psychology Club and the Opinions Editor for The Gatepost student newspaper.
Psychology Student Spotlight: Emily “Alix” Ayoub ‘26
Alix Ayoub ‘26 is a Psychology major with an education minor. She works as a Flight Director at Framingham State’s Christa McAuliffe Center for Integrated Science Learning and is also the Events Coordinator for the Student Government Association.
Psychology Honor Society
Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, involving more than 890 college and university chapters. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association and the American Psychological Society. The Society has two primary goals. The first is to provide academic recognition to its inductees through membership. The second goal is to nurture and stimulate excellence in scholarship and professional growth. The national organization provides programs to help achieve these goals, including annual conventions, research award competitions, certificate recognition programs, national and regional chapter awards, and national service projects. The Psi Chi Journal of Undergraduate Research is also dedicated to the publication of student research and is published quarterly.

The Psychology Club is open to all psychology majors. The club sponsors psychology-related events on campus and holds fundraisers.
