Master's Commencement Hooding Ceremony for 2027

Key Steps for Graduates

Let us know if you are ready to graduate!

  • Complete the Notice of Candidacy: Click here to fill out your form
  • Be on the lookout for information from TASSEL and complete your registration: After April 1st, completing the Notice of Candidacy form will also prompt registration for ceremony participation through a system called TASSEL.
  • Monitor communications: Graduates should continuously check their FSU Student email and the Commencement Website for updates and alerts.

The Commencement Masters Hooding Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 22,2027.  Graduates from August or December 2026, and January and May 2027 are all invited to participate in the specific event.

Commencement Day: Details

The Commencement Masters Hooding Ceremony for Graduate recipients will be held at the DCU Center Arena and Convention Center, Worcester, MA.

  • Saturday, May 22, 2027
  • 1:30 pm graduates begin check-in via North Exhibition Hall via Door 2 (we kindly ask that all guests of graduating students DO NOT enter the Exhibit Hall during check-in)
  • 2:45 pm graduates start processing to arena
  • 3:00 pm Graduates Master's Hooding Ceremony begins
