MISSION
The Council on Diversity and Inclusion promotes a campus environment where all Framingham State University students, staff, librarians, faculty, and administration feel valued and respected. As an organization focused on our community, we seek to support diversity and inclusion through equity and social justice within our policies, curriculum, events, and interactions.
MEETINGS
The CDI meets at regular times throughout the academic year. As an all-campus organization, we will never be able to schedule meetings that do not conflict with any other events. However, we try to schedule meetings at a variety of times so that it is more likely that everyone can attend at least one meeting.
GRANTS AND CO-SPONSORSHIP VIA INCLUSIVE EXCELLENCE FUNDS
The CDI also provides Inclusive Excellence Funds and co-sponsorships for diversity related events and activities. E-mail cdichairs [at] framingham.edu for information about the availability of this funding and ways to apply.
GET INVOLVED
Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to become CDI members. In addition, elections will take place each year for three CDI co-chairs comprising one faculty member, one staff member, and one student.
