Case Management Certificate - Overview
Program & Admissions Requirements
- Submit a completed Graduate Certificate Application form.
- Transcripts from any and all colleges and universities (undergraduate, graduate, and/or doctoral coursework that may appear on any transcript) attended are required.
- Hold a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN license) and BSN degree; Social Worker (LSW, LCSW, LICSW), Physical Therapist (PT), or Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
- Submit a Statement of Purpose which includes the applicant’s professional goals.
- Interview with Certificate faculty.
- NURM 910: Professional Foundations and Care Coordination
- NURM 920: Quality Management and Health Promotion
- NURM 980: Seminar and Practicum in Case Management I
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the graduate certificate program, students will be able to:

Analyze the concepts, standards of practice, and trends in healthcare that define and impact the role of case managers.
