In February 2022, Framingham State University’s new Center for Digital Humanities received a three-year Humanities Initiatives grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to fund a series of programs focused on using digital humanities tools and methods to explore issues of race. Activities include a year-long institute for FSU faculty during the 2022-2023 academic year, a summer program for area high school teachers in July 2023, and a series of workshops for local archives and cultural organizations during the 2022-2023 academic year.
