FSU’s Orientation model has two parts:

These Taking Care of Business Sessions encourage students to come meet with offices and departments to complete required business! Up to two family members, supporters, and/or guests, are welcome to attend as well. These sessions allow you to get your Student ID, meet other new students, and check out spaces on campus!

Offices in attendance will be:

  • Financial Aid
  • Advising Office to Schedule your Advising Appointment
  • Student Accounts/Billing
  • Health Center
  • Residence Life
  • Admissions
  • Parking Services
  • Dining Services
  • Student ID Office (Please bring a valid form of Government issued photo identification: License, state ID card, passport, etc.)

Lunch or dinner will be provided. 

Residence Halls will be open the hour before check in on Thursday sessions (3pm-4pm) and the hour after closing on Saturday sessions (12pm-1pm) to get a glimpse inside one of our residence halls. Please go to Towers Residence Hall for these previews.

Black and Gold Beginnings Orientation 

This 3 day program takes place from September 1-3, 2024. Residential students will move in on Saturday, August 31, 2024. Commuter and residential students will join together on September 1st for orientation’s kick off!

The Black and Gold Beginnings Program is to get students the necessary information to be successful in their transition into Framingham State. This program is required for all new students coming into Framingham in the Fall.

Residence Hall Preview Nights will take place on June 13, 2024 from 6-8pm and July 12, 2024 from 6-8pm!
