Deferring Admission

Accepted students who wish to postpone enrollment at FSU may do so for one semester or one year by requesting to defer their enrollment. Please note the following if you wish to defer:

  • You must submit the non-refundable enrollment deposit.
  • After the deposit is submitted, email your deferral request to your admissions counselor or the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at %20admissions [at] framingham.edu (admissions[at]framingham[dot]edu). Please include your name, student ID number or date of birth, and reason for deferral.
  • Submit your request prior to the start of the semester to which you were accepted. You may not defer enrollment after a semester has begun. You may however request to reactivate your application for up to one year.
