Dependents of Veterans/Military Connected Students

Apply to undergraduate program as a transfer student.

Apply to undergraduate program as a first-year student.

Apply to a graduate program.

Email your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) or Purchase Order (PO) to RegistrarsOffice [at] framingham.edu (RegistrarsOffice[at]framingham[dot]edu).

Visit VA website at https://www.va.gov/  and apply for benefits. You must complete the appropriate form to utilize your benefits. Once the VA processes your application and you are found eligible for benefits, the VA will mail you a document titled  “Certificate of Eligibility (COE)".

National Guard and Post 911 should be contacting their VA Counselor/VA Education Coordinator for their Certificate of Eligibility (COE) and Veteran Readiness (VRE) Chapter 31 students should contact their VA Counselor/VA Education Coordinator for their Purchase Order (PO).

 

Submit official transcripts from any institution that awarded you college credit, including military transcripts.  

To submit the veteran and military connected student request for enrollment certification (ECR) follow these steps:

  1.  Register for Classes

    First, ensure you are officially registered for the courses you wish to enroll in. 

     
  2. Complete the Form

    Carefully fill out the ECR form with accurate information about your enrollment, including your courses, program of study, and VA benefits. 

     
  3. Submit the Form

    Submit the completed ECR form as instructed. Some schools require submission via their website, while others may have specific submission guidelines. 

     
  4. Verify Your Enrollment
    After submitting the ECR, you may need to verify your enrollment separately through VA.gov

 All in-state (Massachusetts residents) veteran students must apply annually for a tuition waiver certificate online, click here to begin. Please note, dependents/spouses of a veteran are not eligible to receive a tuition waiver.
