We help guide you through the transfer process, while helping ensure you get credit for the work you've already done. Undergraduate Transfer students will have a dedicated transfer counselor who is familiar with your transition to Framingham State and will guide you through the process.

If you decide to enroll at Framingham State we will also waive your enrollment deposit.

If you applied for financial aid, access your 2026-27 FAFSA and add Framingham State to the “Add a School” section.

Graduate Transfer Students
Our dedicated Graduate Admissions team will help you guide through the path of transferring from Anna Maria to Framingham State.
Online Application
Please complete the online application for the graduate program. We have removed the requirements for letters of recommendation, waived the application fee and if you enroll, will waive the enrollment deposit.
Transcripts
You will need to provide transcripts from any and all colleges or universities attended, including Anna Maria College.

Transfer Credit and Advising
You’ve already put in the work - and that matters here. We’ll do everything we can to make sure as many of your credits as possible transfer to Framingham State, with a flexible, student-centered approach that recognizes your progress and keeps you moving forward.
From day one, you’ll have direct access to an advisor who will work with you one-on-one to map out your next steps and get your schedule in place. Our goal is simple: help you transition smoothly and feel confident, supported, and ready for the fall semester.
Graduate Students:
Please note that any licensing requirements specifying a minimum number of credits within a particular program must be adhered to across all graduate programs with licensure components. As a result, students may be required to complete more than 50% of their coursework at FSU. We recommend consulting with an FSU advisor to understand how these requirements may affect your individual academic plan.

Athletics
As a member of MASCAC conference, FSU Rams compete in the following sports:
Men – baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, ice hockey, soccer
Women – basketball, cross-country, field hockey, ice hockey, lacrosse, softball, soccer, track and field, volleyball
If you are a student athlete who would like to continue playing at Framingham State, we encourage you to connect with the coach for your sport.
Financial Aid
Financial aid funds are still available.
For many students the cost to attend FSU will be lower than your current cost. If you applied for financial aid, access your 2026-27 FAFSA and add Framingham State to the “Add a School” section. You will receive your financial aid offer usually within a week of your acceptance to the university.
The FSU Tuition Promise – Any admitted Massachusetts undergraduate student whose household income is $85,000 or less will pay zero in tuition and fees after applying their financial aid grants. This does not include expenses like housing and meals, but additional financial aid is available for those who qualify. Undergraduate applicants from New England states other than MA are eligible for the New England Tuition Break, reducing the out of state tuition from $7,050 to $1,455. The staff in the Financial Aid office are ready to work closely with you to make FSU affordable for you and your family.
Housing
Undergraduates choosing to live on campus, are guaranteed housing throughout your years at FSU. Please note, you will need to confirm you plan to live on campus, by submitting your housing application, by August 15, 2026 to assure placement. After August 15th you will be placed on a space available basis.
