As a result, students may be required to complete more than 50% of their coursework at FSU. We recommend consulting with an FSU advisor to understand how these requirements may affect your individual academic plan.

Financial Aid

Financial aid funds are still available.

For many students the cost to attend FSU will be lower than your current cost. If you applied for financial aid, access your 2026-27 FAFSA and add Framingham State to the “Add a School” section. You will receive your financial aid offer usually within a week of your acceptance to the university.

The FSU Tuition Promise – Any admitted Massachusetts undergraduate student whose household income is $85,000 or less will pay zero in tuition and fees after applying their financial aid grants. This does not include expenses like housing and meals, but additional financial aid is available for those who qualify. For those who do not qualify, you may still be eligible for significant financial aid. You can learn more about how much you may qualify for here: What FSU Really Costs

Undergraduate applicants from New England states other than MA are eligible for the New England Tuition Break, reducing the out of state tuition from $7,050 to $1,455. The staff in the Financial Aid office are ready to work closely with you to make FSU affordable for you and your family.
