Library Acquisitions

January 2021 – The Whittemore Library is now subscribed to “Ebsco’s Academic eBook Collection”, a multi-disciplinary collection containing over 200,000 books from a wide range of fields. These eBooks can be found using our Ram Search or by visiting our A-Z database listing and clicking on the “Ebsco eBooks” link. Additionally, the Library is participating in a trial of “Proquest eBook Central”. This service has an expansive collection of nearly 200,000 eBooks that can be explored through a text search, or browsed by diverse subject headings. This service can be accessed by visiting our A-Z database listing and clicking on the link for “Proquest eBook Central”.

To learn more about these services, please review our eBooks Libguide. If you have any technical trouble accessing the Ebsco Collection or the Proquest trial site, please contact Abe Newell, anewell1@framingham.edu, E-Resources and Digital Services Librarian.
