Any student in Massachusetts may be eligible if they:
- Meet program requirements – priority given to low-income families and/or first-generation students
- Remain actively enrolled in high school
- Receive school/district approval
- Enroll in courses that count toward both high school and college credit
Students are not eligible for CDEP funding if they:
- Have already graduated high school
- Have earned a GED
- Are no longer enrolled in a high school (unless approved through a homeschooling process recognized by the district)
- CDEP funding is only available while students remain eligible for dual enrollment under state guidelines.
Students in dual enrollment receive support with:
- Course selection
- Application guidance
- Academic check-ins during the semester
- Problem-solving and navigation support
