Join the CIE, as we host Dr. Lissa Bollettino, Professor and Chair, Department of History, and Dr. Joe Adelman, Professor, Department of History, for a dynamic presentation and discussion on the 14th Amendment and the impact of birthright citizenship in the U.S.! Come explore history, legal debates, and current perspectives in an interactive and thought-provoking session.

Come share a scholarly or creative work in progress with your fellow faculty and librarians during the Works in Progress Colloquium. Sharing will take place in small groups to ensure time for feedback and discussion. Please register to let us know how you’d like to use your 5-10 minutes to share something you have been working on, the primary focus around which you would like to be grouped (subject area, specific goal, or other), and what kind of feedback would be most useful to you at this stage. We will use the information you provide to organize participants into groups.

After two years of hard work, the General Education Advisory Board has proposed a NEW model for General Education at FSU. As a Liberal Arts University, our General Education curriculum says a lot about who we are and what we value. Members of the University Curriculum Committee (UCC) value YOU! To that end, the UCC will be hosting two open, hybrid meetings dedicated to discussing the proposed General Education logs and the impact they will have on our community.
