Kate Fraser '69, G'81
Science Teacher and Science Curriculum Coordinator at the Perkins School for the Blind
Kate Fraser
“It was a total career change for me when I became a science teacher. I feel the science background I received at Framingham State prepared me well when I sought to get my science teaching certificate.”
Major: Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics and Master’s Degree in Education
Residence Hall: Horace Mann; Crocker Hall
Favorite Hangout: On the grass in front of May Hall
Special Memory: Walking with friends from the school down to the old Shoppers World
Why I chose FSU: I chose Framingham State because of the strong reputation of the Home Economics Program and because it is affordable.
