Student Resources

Dear Students,

The following resources are available to you:

Please see below for important information if you need help, either financially, academically, or medically. It's important for students to contact the Dean of Students Office, or a staff person, to discuss your situation so corrective action can be taken as soon as possible. Don't hesitate to stop in or call to make an appointment.

Crisis Assistance

University students sometimes face personal crises that threaten the continuation of studies. Such emergencies can be personal, medical, or financial in nature. The student should always make contact with the appropriate support service on campus (for example, psychological counseling, health services, financial aid). However, as soon as possible students should also inform the Dean of Students of the crisis, especially if academic success is jeopardized by circumstances. This connection forms the basis for special consideration if warranted. Dean's Office personnel can also advise students in coping with a crisis and can refer them to the appropriate support services if needed. The important thing for students to remember is to come forward -- we cannot help if we do not know that you need assistance.
