Graduate and PBTL New Student Orientation Agenda

Check-in will begin at 4:00PM and last until 7:00PM

4:00PM-5:00PM: Student Service Fair

  •     Campus Police – Questions about parking, parking decals, public safety (1st Floor, McCarthy Center)
  •     ID Services – Have your photo taken for and pick up your  Student ID (3rd Floor – Mazmanian Gallery)
  •     Book Store – purchases and buyback programs; your #1 choice in FSU pride products! (Open in Dwight Hall until 7:30pm)
  •     Student Services Center – help with registration, student accounts and financial aid.
  •     Career Services – learn more about job opportunities beyond graduation including help with resume writing and interviewing
  •     Center for Academic Support and Advising (CASA) – learn more about tutoring and academic advising
  •     ITS – learn about Help Desk support, the Laptop Purchase Program, myFramingham (for portal information and log in help)
  •     Library Services – Discover electronic resources, campus holdings, and a goldmine of information
  •     Students with Disabilities – learn about the College requirements for ADA accommodations and Section 504
  •     Alumni Affairs – your life as a Ram after graduation
  •     Dining Services – get information about the various options available for graduate students


4:30PM - 5:00PM: Master of Education with a concentration in Elementary Education Breakout (Room TBD)

5:00PM - 5:30PM: Formal Welcome by Faculty and Staff

5:30PM - 5:50PM: Blackboard and Online Learning Workshop

6:00PM - 7:30PM: Program Specific Breakouts (Rooms TBD)
