This is where your international academic experience begins! No matter where you go or for how long, your abroad experience will be one to remember for a lifetime. Whether you are going abroad from FSU or an international student coming to FSU, prepare to be changed.
“Nothing, above all, is comparable to the new life that a reflective person experiences when he observes a new country. Though I am still always myself, I believe I have been changed to the very marrow of my bones.” Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, 1786
FSU in China-Summer 2021: FSU will offer students an opportunity to earn credit while they are "home" for the summer. FSU students should check directly with the Office of International Education for restrictions.

Where Will Your Education Take You?
Welcome to a world of opportunities.
Join the nearly 200 FSU students who studied abroad last year. Their programs lasted from a week to a full academic year. You’ll gain new friends, have experiences you can’t have in Framingham, and gain new perspectives on your major and your career.
Studying abroad helps you define your goals and focuses your attention. It’s also a great career boost, as employers are looking for recent grads who have leadership skills and experience working with people from other cultures.
International Students
Study With Us!
The Office of International Education seeks to enhance and support the educational, cultural, and social dimension of international education at Framingham State University. We welcome students from over 30 countries around the world!
We help promote a diverse learning environment, support essential services and programs, and assist international students in meeting their educational and career goals.
The office provides orientation, advising, and immigration regulation information to international students as support services.
