Welcome, first-year students, to the Framingham State University fRAMily! We are so glad that you have chosen to attend FSU and we are excited to help you succeed and reach your goals. It is crucial to activate your FSU account in order to start receiving communications from Framingham State University. Follow the Tech Prep Instructions given to you in your enrollment packet!

This set of online modules is designed to give you vital information you will need as you navigate being a new Ram!
To access the portal, log in to myFramingham with your FSU username and password. Click "Online Orientation" on the lower left-hand side.
- Official final high school or college transcript(s)
- Official Advanced Placement (AP) or Official International Baccalaureate (IB) scores (if applicable)
- In-State Tuition Residency Form (you will need your FSU username and password)
- Housing Application (access in myFramingham)
- Health Forms
- Master Promissory Note (if taking out loans)
Incoming first-year students will meet with their department chair, faculty department advisor or professional advisor in a one-on-one meeting, Zoom or in person. During the meeting, you will discuss your fall course plans and create your fall schedule. Currently, we are offering June appointments so you may receive the best selection of courses. Once you register for courses, it is important to take care of your bill!
To pay your bill or set up a payment plan, log into myFramingham with your FSU username and password. On the student home page, click on the "Pay your Bill" icon.
Come take care of business before Black and Gold Beginnings Orientation! Sign up for one of the two-hour sessions throughout the summer.
Each session will include:
- Get your Student ID
- Learn how to pay your bill
- Talk to Financial Aid
- Learn about Residence Life
- Talk to an Academic Advisor
- Get information on how to submit your required health forms online
- Start meeting new Rams, including your Orientation Leaders
Attending a Taking Care of Business: Summer Support Session is a requirement for all new incoming students.
For students living on campus, move in will be held on September 2, 2023.
We will have activities on the evening of September 2, so commuter students will receive information on when to head to campus!
Black and Gold Beginnings Orientation will be held September 3-5, 2023. This program is designed to give you the knowledge and resources you need to be set up for success at FSU! Tentatively, we will offer housing for the commuter students during the program.
Black and Gold Beginnings Orientation is required for all incoming students.
