Study Abroad Opportunities

The Office of International Education at FSU offers a variety of opportunities to expose you to the world.

If you are a Nutrition and Dietetics student, you can take one or more of your science requirements at an English-speaking university. You are encouraged to speak with your advisor in the first semester of the first year. If you are a Health and Wellness student, you can spend a semester/summer abroad. Your advisor can assist you.

The Food and Nutrition Department offers a Slow Food Study Tour of Italy. The trip is schedule for 12 days starting the week after graduation. You can take the trip with or without registering for NUTR 390 Special Topics in Nutrition. Based in Verona, Italy, you will visit farms, manufacturers, restaurants, etc. that adhere to the traditional ways of producing and consuming food. The trip is a feast for all five of your senses.
